Odi & I spent the weekend visiting Lula & Beto in Morelia. It was a short visit but we managed to do a lot of fun things with them.
We went to the city’s downtown on Saturday morning to see the decorations for Día de Muertos, then in the afternoon drove all the way to Pátzcuaro for a walk at the crafts market and to have dinner at a delicious Mexican food buffet while enjoying a show of the traditional Danza de los Viejitos.

On Sunday, Beto & I managed to run a 25-km beautiful trail across Morelia’s southern sierra while Lula & Odi spent the morning going to the zoo and hanging around. In the afternoon, the four of us met at San Miguel del Monte to have lunch and some rest. Later in the evening we went back to Morelia’s downtown to buy Mexican candies at the candy market and to enjoy a cheap-but-tasty dinner at the famous La Inmaculada.

Even though this was quick, it was great to see Lula & Beto some months after their wedding. Seems like they’re already setup with living in Morelia and enjoying every bit of it
