In the middle of chaos
Exciting day we had at work. The Worldcup begun and our system started to receive and process fresh live match information. Do you think that everything would be so easy? Wrong! 
The arriving XML files contained a lot of invalid tokens and the information wasn’t getting into the database. Fortunately we were able to hack around this by wrapping everything with tags before validating them. XML & Perl trickery…
