ProSA::Protein Sequence Analyzer

ProSA::Protein Sequence Analyzer is a tool that searches for known protein domains in nucleotide or protein sequences using the PROSITE database, with the purpose that the user can predict to which possible protein family a laboratory obtained sequence belongs to.

Instructions of use:

  1. Type or paste (Ctrl+V) a nucleotide or protein sequence (strange characters will be deleted).
  2. Select the type of sequence.
  3. If the sequence type is nucleotide, select the appropriate Genetic Code for its translation.
  4. Press the "Analyze" button.
